TOURIST VISA

  • 2 Photos (35x45 mm, white background, matt finish, 80 % face portion to be visible. Pax signature behind the photograph is a must. In case of minor, both the parents should sign behind)

  • Covering letter( on letterhead) with name and designation/ profession of the person travelling and that of the person signing on it.

  • NOC from the company in case pax is working somewhere.

  • Return confirmed air tickets

  • Photo ID card copy (in case of students)

  • last 7 months bank statement with signature and bank stamp and with a minimum closing balance of Rs. 55000/- per person

  • Original purchase receipt of Foreign exchange of USD 700 per person and USD 1400 Per family ( for 1 couple with 2 children less than 10 years) if children are more than 10 years then USD 700 per person OR International Credit card copy, front & back. If pax has bank closing balance of more than INR 55000 per person, then forex receipt or credit card is not required.But bank statement / Passbook has to be in Original with the bank seal near the closing balance.

  • Proof of Hotel accommodation with contact number and address with all passengers name clearly mentioned on it.

  • If intended to stay with relative/friend, must provide invitation letter along with copy of their ID / Passport and in case they are not Thai, must provide their work permit, valid at least six months.

  • For Incentive Group, Cover Letter from the Company sponsoring the trip and a letter from the travel agency, stating all names with passport numbers and its place of issue along with plan of travel and palces to stay for incentive group. Letter of Financial Guarantee from Company for USD 700 per person along with the above mentioned documents.

  • For Incentive Group, company's bank statement attested by the bank and a photocopy of Company's business registration attested by the Company.

Thailand’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs (MFA) has LAUNCHED a new six-month multiple-entry tourist visa (METV) on November 13, 2015. The visa, costing INR 10,000 (5,000 baht) will grant travelers multiple entries during a 6-month period, for up to 60 days per entry. Indian travelers must be able to show a proof of funds in excess of INR 400,000, 12-months’ validity on their passports and must display an intention to travel to Thailand at least twice during the six-month period in order to be eligible for the METV. One can only apply for an METV at a Royal Thai Consulate. It is not available on-arrival.

But bank statement/ Passbook has to be in Original with the bank seal near the closing balance.

  • Proof of Hotel accommodation with all passengers name clearly mentioned on it.

  • INVITATION in original to be submitted along with the case. It has to be in Thai Language.

VISA ON ARRIVAL

VISA ON ARRIVAL ( VOA) IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF TOURISM AND STAY FOR UP TO 15 DAYS.REQUIREMENTS FOR VOA APPLICATION– COMPLETED APPLICATION FORM
– PHOTOGRAPH (4×6 CM)
– PASSPORT WITH AT LEAST 6 MONTHS OF VALIDITY**
– CONFIRMED RETURN TICKET WITHIN 15 DAYS.
– 2,000 BAHT FEE IN CASH
– APPLICANT MUST CARRY SUFFICIENT FUNDING (AT LEAST 10,000 BAHT PER PERSON OR 20,000 BAHT PER FAMILY) AND PROVIDE PROOF OF ACCOMMODATION IN THAILAND.

*REMARKS: IT IS STIPULATED IN THAI IMMIGRATION BUREAU (RULES AND PROCEDURES FOR VISA AND CHANGE OF VISA) REGULATIONS 2014 THAT THE PASSPORT SHOULD HAVE A MINIMUM 30 DAYS OF VALIDITY AT THE TIME OF APPLYING FOR VOA AT DESIGNATED THAI VOA CHECKPOINTS. HOWEVER, AS A GENERAL RULE AND THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL CIVIL AVIATION ORGANIZATION (ICAO), IT IS ADVISED THAT A PASSPORT SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST 6 MONTHS OF VALIDITY WHILE TRAVELING ABOARD. SO IT COULD BE THE CASE THAT CERTAIN AIRLINES MIGHT NOT ALLOW THOSE WHO TRAVEL WITH LESS THAN 6 MONTHS OF VALIDITY ON THE PASSPORT TO BOARD THE PLANE.
