Covering letter on business letterhead, explaining the reason of travel with name & designation of the pax and the signatory. This letter should clearly mention who will bear the expenses of the trip. It should mention the passport number of all the pax along with the correct date of entry and exit into South Africa. The same should tally with the air tickets.
Latest Original 3 months bank statement with bank stamp & signature on it with closing balance equivalent to R 3000, Foreign exchange worth USD 1000 & Salary Certificate for last 3 months. Bank statement of Indian bank should be on bank letterhead with stamp and signature. Bank passbook, e statements, Net Banking copies will NOT be accepted alone but should be accompanied by Bank Balance Certificate in Original with bank stamp.
Leave letter/ NOC from the company/ school/ university in original in case pax is working or studying. It should clearly mention the name, passport number and duration of trip.Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of authorized signature’s name, designation and signature.
All sorts of certificates like Marriage certificate, birth certificate, death certificate, divorce certificate should be attested, without which, cases will not be accepted.
Notarized letter of consent for minors (below 18 years of age) travelling alone or with one of the parents , and a full birth certificate..
Unabridged Birth Certificates Required for Children Traveling Internationally. All documents must either be original or certified as true copies of the original, by a competent authority. Documents not in English must be accompanied by a sworn translation

Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of the host and host’s/authorised signature’s name, designation and signature (Host ID copy attested by commissioner of OATHS or Police or Post Office needs to be submitted if required by SAHC)
Reference/introduction letter from Indian employer stating the name, passport number of applicant as well as purpose and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of authorised signature’s name, designation and signature
